EMPILON® series: HT Series

General
EMPILON® HT series compounds have midblocks of a saturated elastomer, poly（ethylene/butylene）, and usually contain polypropylene as the added polymer. These polymer compounds have the additional advantages of increased oxidation and weather resistance, improved solvent resistance, higher upper service temperature, and better processing stability. A wide variety of articles can be made from EMPILON® HT series compounds by using conventional molding or other forming techniques familiar to the thermoplastics industry. However, there are some differences in the processing behavior of these materials relative to other thermoplastics that necessitates minor modifications in mold designs and in processing conditions to achieve optimum performance. There are suitable for automotives application since their high performance and compress resistance.
EMPILON® HT series also offer FDA and UL94HB compatibility what are ice-like transparence, non-skid quality, rubber-like feel and high elasticity.
They are also latex free and insensitive of skin..

Processing
EMPILON® HT series compounds with saturated elastomer midblocks are considerably more stable to higher temperatures and shear rates. The normal processing temperature range is from 355 ~ 430 oF（180 ~ 220 oC）. These polymer compounds are often processed at higher shear rates.

Storage
Storage at room temperature（23 oC）in the original sealed bag and keep out water evaporation or high humidity place. General speak,
